I have a son who was starting to catch, as well as a step son who was starting to pitch. They've played on two teams together last year on Afton Athletic Association and then at Ofallon for fall for fun, they're only a couple months apart in age. My son Silas started baseball 3 years ago. First year he played on our local CYC team. Second year with 10U house team at Affton Athletic Association (Grizzlies) and continued on the same team (11U) for a third year and won 2nd place in their league. In fall 2025 he played on two teams for fall ball (one was Grizzlies). He’s most enthusiastic about catcher and does well at 2nd base and midfield positions. He is very athletic and very coachable.
